Today's storytelling.
Come into the light. Ah what a gorgeous song from the universal comms team today. Bliss and the beautiful voice of Lucinda Drayton "Come into the light". https://youtu.be/O6xUahjBJN4 A ballad about transcending ego dramas to enter Soul Consciousness. The lyrics relate to this journey from troublesome ego dramas, to the peace and light of soul connection - soul consciousness. I find this idea most inspiring as glance around social media right now. I wonder, what bliss and connection, might we find if we were to transcend the ego and relate to one another as souls; each of us small shards of the universal whole ? Let's see how this threads through our cards today. First out today 6 of Wands ( wands representative of the fire element and action) We see a young woman taking centre stage, arms up in the air giving salutation to the light. She is in the spotlight, held in the columns of universal light. To her left (feminine energy) we see a fiery topped wand with a laurel wreath. Laurel wreaths Are a symbol of victory, honour and peace. Laurel is a symbol of Apollo and the leaf itself is believed to have spiritual and physical cleansing abilities. As an essence, Laurel instills resourcefulness, helping us hold our vision, get organised and bring our plan into manifestation. It supports us in organising, directing, planning and structuring our thoughts in line with our intention. Inspiring us with ideas and formulating a clear and concise mental picture of exactly what we want, through our intention our highest dreams can become a reality. We can influence the World around us, we can make a difference. It starts within each of us. Our second card today is 12 the hanged man. Today I'm drawn to the shape our subject is making, it looks almost as though she is in the challenging yoga backbend "dhanurasana", or bow pose. This yoga pose offers an opportunity to embody the selfless spirit of the inner warrior and apply these teachings in our lives. Resembling an archer’s bow, this posture encourages a powerful stretch along the front of the body and a deep opening at the heart centre, helping us cultivate an attitude of fearlessness and grace as we set out to pursue our dharma and offer up the fruits of our actions. On an energetic level, the stabilising warrior poses help build stamina and determination as we set our sights on life’s higher purpose. The uplifting backbending postures promote courage and dispel despondency, invigorating us to fulfill our true potential in this world. We are being asked to surrender to our higher self's wisdom and guidance. To transcend the lower urges of the ego, to ascend to higher consciousness. Our final card today is 0 the fool. As I look at the card " the zero point" drops into my mind. Now that's a huge subject matter to even begin to cover here (please do have a Google on it's meaning to us spiritually speaking ) For today though, I'm simply going to say living from the Zero Point, we are given a way to transform the world from within. It is the infinte point of all creation. Which brings me to the depiction of the seed of life in our card. The Seed of Life is a universal symbol of creation.Found at the heart of an ancient pattern called the Flower of Life, there is an entire cosmology of consciousness encoded into this singular geometric seed. We see the dots within the card... I feel we're being asked to "join the dots". When we think back to doing dot-to-dot puzzles as child, we can no doubt recall, that it was only when a line was drawn connecting the dots, that the outline of an object was revealed. Perhaps we are being shown a metaphor to illustrate our ability (or inability) to associate one idea with another, to find a shared "big picture". Some beautiful messages today, urging us to move beyond ego driven action, to a place of blissful soul to soul connection.
