Do you like the comfort of the green grass of home?

Following on from my last blog " How do you show up" , today I thought I'd take this subject a little further. Since writing my last blog, I've been delving further into how our individual mix of colour energies create our own work of art, that is our collection of illustrations of our life, from moment to moment.

I have been aware of colour and energy and used it in many areas of my work for many years, now I feel it is beginning to take an even bigger role as I move forward into 2013.

Interestingly, I created my vison board for this year just the other day, I do this very intuitively, allowing my soul to be drawn to pictures and words that are just right for me at this time in my journey. As you will have already no doubt read, I then arrange my vision board, guided by the Feng Shui Bagua map, I find this ensures I give focus and energy to all areas of my life

No suprise then; with my attention and focus since New Year being very much drawn to colour, that it features very strongly in my creativity, career and fame areas of my board.(some yellow energy coming up there)

But interesting for someone who doesn't naturally show up with huge amount of red or blue energy ( more about this soon) I found myself being very focussed and very detailed whilst creating my personal vision for 2013.

As you will have read from my last blog, we are all made up of the full spectrum of colour energies. Some colour energies just show up more than others. Using the Clarity 4D model has allowed me to really take a look at how I show up and where I need to flex those lower percentage colour energies to grow and develop myself fully.

Combining my understanding of colour and energy from a spiritual point of view and the use of this profiling system has been really interesting, I've found that the more profiles I complete, the more intuitive the system appears to be.

Talking of intuition ( take a moment to think about that word by the way, IN TUITION!) We can learn so much by taking note of how our energy shows up in the world.

So back to intuition.........You know when you just get those times where you just notice more and more synchronicities showing up, where it simply feels you're "In tune" with the universe and information and symbolism just flows to you?
 
Well I've found that's been happening a lot these past couple of weeks. It's just as though I'm being shown more and more pieces of the colour energy puzzle fitting together.

Here's an example: You may have noticed it's been a little cold this week, well it dropped to -11 here at Holly House this week and my car really didnt seem to like that too much, and in protest flashed its engine warning light at me. (interestingly the light is yellow)

So taking note of not only my car's need for attention, but the symbolism of the matter (the car respresenting me and how I'm moving along my journey, the engine warning light tell me to STOP and take notice ) I did just that, I took my car into the garage to get it checked out, which made me STOP, it made me forget my plans of rushing from one place to the next, and whilst I had an hour to spend waiting for my car to be "Diagnosed" I took a little walk around Grantham.

Now one thing Grantham isn't short of is charity shops, and anyone who knows me will know that I have an absolute love of browsing charity shops. I love supporting charity and recycling in this way, it simply just feels right to me to help people and organistations that so need it (green energy showing up there). As I meandered and browsed, I was drawn to a book sitting there on the book shelf in Oxfam. "Soul Signs" by Rosemary Altea. The sub title read " Discover which kind of soul you have - and recognise those of others". Well as a soul purpose coach, How could I not to pick up this book to see what else I could learn!

On returning home ( car still intact without too serious a diagnosis, just a little moan about the cold temperature; basically my car had a case of car flu, like a cold but I think my car's probably male in energy... I feel maybe that's enough said......I won't say any more! apart from my car is BLUE) I had a great coaching session to carry out with a client, then I sat down and began to read the book.
 
Now I'm not saying that all of the content so far has resonated with me, but as I always say, take what resonates and leave the rest. However, what is very interesting, are the links to the four elements, the energy of each type of soul and the direct correlation to the colour energies that we show up with. And so another potential piece of the jigsaw unfolds, and a little more of the overall picture can be seen.I will of course share with you as I read more and I gain a little more clarity. ( even the words are showing up the same)

Because once you're aware of that, you will also become aware of the colour filter/ filters through which you view the world and everyone around you.

So just how do the four colour energies and elements show up?

Air = Thought

Yellow Energy
Like the energy of a bright sunny day, yellow brings clarity and awareness.The shade of yellow determines its effect: Yellow-green can create a disoriented feeling. Orange-yellow imparts a sense of establishment. Clean light yellow clears the mind, making it active and alert.

Air
Air is the element of the East, connected to the soul and the breath of life.If you’re doing a working related to communication, wisdom or the powers of the mind, Air is the element to focus on. Air carries away your troubles, blows away strife, and carries positive thoughts to those who are far away.  Air is associated with the colour yellow.

(AIR) YELLOW energy is displayed by people who are out-going, sociable and fun-loving.They particularly enjoy the company of other like-minded people and frequently stand out in a crowd, often enjoying being the centre of attention.They are persuasive, charming and can sometimes overwhelm people with their enthusiastic energy.

Increase your yellow energy when you want:

• clarity for decision-making
• relief from 'burnout', panic, nervousness, exhaustion
• sharper memory and concentration skills
• protection from lethargy and depression during dull weather
