Today's storytelling. Magical mystery tour. No points for guessing the song choice from the universal comms team today! https://youtu.be/l8WMGBuNaus We may well feel like we've stepped onto a magical mystery tour bus in our current world. This is the most uncharted territory we've ever found ourselves in, that is for sure.At the beginning of this current journey into the unknown, I heard it said by many that it was like we had stepped into a movie or a Stephen King novel. That we woke up in a totally unfamiliar setting.Perhaps the clue is in that last sentence... we 'woke' up. I'm sure you've heard many a hipster young person claiming to be 'woke' to the world's injustices, prejudices and political wrong doings. It's become a hip, trendy expression of what at it's basis, is being awakened to a need for radical change. Of course I'm not getting out a soap box here; far from it, I just find myself wondering if from a universal standpoint this is, in fact, our wake up call. Maybe we have been sleepwalking through our comfort zone, to then be pushed into our opportunity zone ( although for many it may have felt like a trip into the twilight or terror zone). This is perhaps our opportunity to do this very differently from here on in, as we chart a brand new course. We are like the ancient discoverers and adventurers, plotting an as yet uncharted trajectory. Which brings us to our first card for today. Numero uno , the one and only , 1 The Magician. Look at his focus and attention as he weaves his magic, melding heaven and earth, using all of the elements at his disposal. He can create the unmanifest to be manifest. He uses the infinite energy of the cosmos. He is the ultimate alchemist . Perhaps he appears today to remind us we have magic within us, we are magic, we can be magic. I'm currently facilitating a Facebook group, through a 21 day Abundance meditation challenge, set by Deepak Chopra. The meditation today is on the sanskrit mantra 'Om vardhanam namah', meaning ' I am the nourisher of the universe and the universe nourishes me'. It feels a little like the phrase that so often accompanies The magician... ' As above, so below'. There appears to be a message of balance once again, of giving and receiving,of achieving homeostasis. Homeostasis refers to the ability of the body to maintain a stable internal environment despite changes in external conditions.( sound familiar?) The stability, or balance, that is attained is called a dynamic equilibrium; that is, as changes occur, the body works to maintain relatively uniform conditions. And don't forget of course, we live on a living, breathing 'body' called Earth. Maybe we are being asked to find our point of balance, to create ( magic) and the perfect point of that flow. Our second card today is the 3 of cups ( cups representative of the water element and of feelings and emotions). The angel number 3 has the energy of kindness, joy, creativity, and imagination. It represents inspiration, creation, manifestation, and growth. It symbolises the interconnectedness of your body, mind, and spirit, and is carefully aligned with the divine energy. And there's that message once more .... On the card we see three women arm in arm looking out to the violet horizon. Violet being the colour of the crown chakra. The crown or the seventh chakra is located at the top of the head. Just as the Root or First Chakra connects us to the Mother Earth, the Crown Chakra is our connection to the Universe. In fact, the Seventh Chakra disperses the Universal energy or life force into the six other chakras located below it. .... I wonder are we getting the message yet ... In the sky we see the stars of the plough, part of the Ursa Major. There are seven stars that make up the plough.Seven is known to be the number of creation, representing the live relationship between the human energies and the Divine world. And there's that message again.... We are witnessing a greater feeling of kinship with our fellow humans as a result of our expansion of awareness ( or wokeness) through this shared experience of this historical time in our evolution. Wow... blimey big stuff ! And as if we haven't already had some mind-blowing revelations in today's cards ... in pops our final card today, 2 The High Priestess. Number 2 is usually associated to harmony, balance, consideration and love. When this number comes to us, it means that we should have more faith. Also, this number means cooperation and peace, so many good things are on the way. So we see the high priestess has her eyes closed in the picture , yet her spiritual sight is 'woke' she sees beyond the confines of the physical and the material. We see a cross on her throat. The function of the Throat chakra is driven by the principle of expression and communication. The most common Sanskrit name for the Throat chakra is “Vishudda”, which means “pure” or “purification”. Above her crown we see energy flowing down from the universe. It is a pink colour of unconditional love and infinite peace.Perhaps she appears today to encourage us to take time to find our point of connection to our new emerging world. To gain the balance through our own insights and introspection. We find ourselves between the old and the new. On an untrodden path. Only we can choose if that is our zone of opportunity or keep trying to step back into our comfort zone. After all, a comfort zone becomes like a stagnant pond after a while.... and what do we know about a stagnant pond? .... well aside from the stench.... nothing lives, thrives or grows there. #makingadifference #lifeisbeautiful
