Today's storytelling.
Pack up your troubles. Ah and what a great tune from the universal comms team... Eliza Doolittle and "Pack up" https://youtu.be/fPt-hkcvoJ0 Sampling the old lyrics of "pack up your troubles" from a famous old wartime tune. Which incidentally immediately makes me think of Captain Tom, the soon to be Centenarian who packed up any personal troubles he may of had and set out to raise £1000 for NHS charities, by walking 100 lengths of his garden....Over 26 million pounds later and still counting, the nation is calling for his Knighthood. Now that's what I call incredible. So on to our first card for today, 16 The Tower. Number 16 resonates with personal willpower, independence, initiative, action and overcoming obstacles. Angel number 16 is a reminder from our angels that our thoughts create your reality, therefore we should ensure that we hold only positive expectations about our life, lifestyle and material issues. 16 The Tower really does bring life-changing energy. In the card we see the lightening strike the tree trunk, what was once strong and sturdy is instantly transformed. We see butterflies with a powder like mist around them, another symbol of transformation. A squirrel looks up, 2 acorns by its side. Acorns are a symbol of strength and potential, it was also a Nordic and Celtic symbol of fertility, and immortality. The god Thor's Life Tree was oak. Druids believed the consumption of acorns would help see the future, and the word Druid can be translated as "Oak Knowledge". Whilst the change and transforming World around us has been thrust upon us, quite suddenly and unexpectedly, we must remember that we have the inner wisdom to withstand this lightening strike and build new foundations. The Tower pairs with the chariot (7) so it may appear that we have little or no control of our direction or destination. We can hang on kicking and screaming or we can choose to harness the chaotic energy and flow with the excitement of the limitless potential it holds. "All great change is proceeded by chaos" Deepak Chopra. Our second card today is the 10 of wands ( wands representative of the fire element and action) Any 10 has both endings and beginnings weaved within it, the culmination of one chapter and the start of another. It also contains a little bit of magic too (1 The Magician). In the card we see a young woman walking alongside an ox laden with her packed up baggage. Around its neck is a large bell, it has two large horns. The ox bell signifies the end of one era and the beginning of another. It is rung eight times to give thanks for the old and another eight times to welcome the new. If it is rung twice, it signifies some sort of disaster or distress. The young woman carries her suitcase and her wands, as her skirt blows forward in the wind. She looks wrapped up warm in a mustard coloured coat. Wearing mustard allows her to remain true to her reserved temperament, not drawing too much attention to her self, yet still being able to express herself. Its appears that she has traveled a long distance on a flame lit path over a steep hill and down a long slope to reach this point. She seems to have determination in her step. It would appear she has delegated the burdens of her heavy load to her trusty companion. Ox teaches us how to bear hard burdens with grace and poise. Sometimes, when our spirit feels weak, when maybe it feels as though our internal battery isn’t strong enough to withstand this world, Ox shows up to tell us that they we are made of tougher stuff than we currently believe. Maybe this card is reminding us to ask for the help we need. We are made of tougher stuff than we give ourselves credit for. We are far more resilient than we realise. She urges us to keep going, we're almost there. Another fire element card makes up our final card for today. The page of wands. Another messenger of new beginnings, activity and action. I do notice that this page is expending lots of energy, though as yet going around in circles. We see the young woman tossing her wand in the air like a majorette, enthusiastically. We also notice as she creates this energy she's looking heaven ward... in a dream like state .... with little or no awareness of whats right ahead of her. Its excitable energy, a rush of activity .... maybe as yet not with real purpose or focus. Maybe she's showing us that its great to use this time to tap into that creative spark, but we aren't yet at the point of turning that activity into manifestation. However, It shouldn't stop us in our creative flow. We just need to hold an awareness that if this activity isn't in balance and from the heart we could become worn out, overwhelmed and chaotic... you know the type of thing ... just working on idea number 4689... for today. This is a journey of discovery, not simply a 100m sprint. #makingadifference #lifeisbeautiful
