Seeing through the illusion to rebirth...
I shared a live video in one of the networking groups I'm a part of this morning. A cosmic fax dropped in whilst I was relaxing in the bath and readying myself for the day. It occurred to me that I'm seeing a complete contrast between frenetic activity, in shops , on social media, by businesses and individuals... and then I'm seeing the stillness and clearing of the skys, the roads, the waterways of venice.
You know I once heard that if you fear that you are drowning and you thrash about in your panic, you expend valuable energy and this can lead to your demise rather than your saviour. However if you are still and measured you can survive.
I wonder, if we were all to take mother earth's lead and we were to allow the waters to be still and to clear, might we see our true reflection, gain greater clarity in order to move forward ?
When I look at the first card in today's storytelling, I see a reflection in the mirror that simply isn't close to the reality, the mirror depicting restriction, bound by fear and being stuck. The reality is far different, I see the opportunity for clarity, change, growth ... letting go of the old script and stories of who we believe ourselves to be in the world....seeing the truth and the abundant options available when we are not in a fixed mindset.
As we move from clarity into action we are gifted with a higher vision and greater purpose, so much greater than we ever believed possible, one we have not allowed ourselves the time to consider, giving us greater focus, speed and direction.
This truly is a time for rebirth. A new cycle, a new way of being in the world, with ourselves and with each other. Be secure in the knowledge that all of life is cyclical, that after the night follows the dawn. As my good friend and colleague Andy would say, a new day has been declared well and truly open to be awesome.
