Today's storytelling...
Staying in heart centred strength. Well it's mother's day here in the UK and I for one am feeling the pain of separation. I've video called my mum and my step mum, my beautiful beautiful daughter left an orchid and a card on my doorstep and waved from the end of the driveway ( I've got a slight cough) and I felt overwhelmed with emotion, tears came to my eyes and my normal positivity was rocked for a moment. They say having a child is like having your heart walk around outside of yourself, I certainly felt this profoundly this morning. I guess we may all be feeling the heartache right now. Of separation, of loss, of uncertainty. Yet from these so called shadow lands of our awareness we can still find inspiration. The sun is shining, bringing a lightness to a new day. In fact I woke very early today at sunrise and the sky was awash with crimson light, it was truly a beautiful new dawn. Now is a time more than ever to stand in heartfelt strength. A gentle, compassionate strength. Following the message of yesterday's storytelling, we are together, as one in this journey, though physically separated we are finding new ways to connect with the world around us. Just yesterday I witnessed the most magical connections through " Rock the lockdown " a group here on Facebook . With joyful posts from around the world and a joining together in camaraderie and music. Together we are stronger and it is in that gentle strength we will move beyond our current limitations to a more heartfelt, more connected and stronger human race. We are called to be courageous now, we all have a significant part to play right now. Even if the part we play is to simply stay at home, dont underestimate the difference that will make. #stayhomesavelives #makingadifference #lifeisbeautiful
