And from the universal comms team, a song by the same name from Jack Johnson https://youtu.be/IhTvifGShw4 Taking a look at the lyrics, some stand out to me. "Well I was sitting, waiting, wishing You believed in superstitions Then maybe you'd see the signs. But Lord knows that this world is cruel And I ain't the Lord, no I'm just a fool Must I always be waiting, waiting on you? Must I always be playing, playing your fool? Just wait a minute Just sitting, waiting Just wait a minute Just sitting, waiting Well, if I was in your position I'd put down all my ammunition I'd wonder why it had taken me so long". With the current situation in the World, these words seem very pertinent. Let's see what our cards have for us. First out is the Ace of wands. Wands representative of the fire element and action. Ace being the pure root of fire energy. We can see the flame burning brightly over the third eye of the woman in the card. Surrounded by indra's net. Indra's Jewel Net, is a much-loved metaphor of Mahayana Buddhism. It illustrates the interpenetration, inter-causality, and interbeing of all things. In the realm of the god Indra is a vast net that stretches infinitely in all directions. In each "eye" of the net is a single brilliant, perfect jewel. Each jewel also reflects every other jewel, infinite in number, and each of the reflected images of the jewels bears the image of all the other jewels, infinity to infinity. Whatever affects one jewel effects them all. A cosmic fax drops in as I type, reminding me of a quote by Gandhi “An eye for an eye will leave the whole world blind.” It brings to the fore the mirror like nature of consciousness. Or simply put what we focus on grows, where focus goes, energy flows.... suggesting that what we focus our attention on, has a direct effect on the collective consciousness. If we give energy to the lower emotions of hate, fury and fear we will create more of that, multiplying the energy. We cannot fight fire with fire is the phrase that comes to me. It also brings to mind a recording I recently listened to once again after some time, by the late, great, Dr Wayne Dyer, "It's never crowded on the extra mile", during which he makes mention of "Power vs force" by David R Hawkins MD. The key take away from this, was to understand our own frequency and it's effect on the collective consciousness. (certainly worth having a read, or taking a look at a synopsis. I've included a frequency chart below) I guess the question is, when we can do nothing else, then what we can do is to consider where our frequency is at, raising it accordingly. Our second card out is the 4 of cups. Cups representative of the water element and of feelings and emotions. Well, just look at the character in the card, The words "petulant child" comes to mind. Of course the adjective, petulant, is a disapproving term used to describe a bad-tempered child, an adult behaving like an angry child or behaviour of this type. Angry or annoyed of course mean the same thing, but if we choose the word, petulant, we are indicating that it is unreasonable or unjustified. Any World leader come to mind? .... And yet look at that hand reaching forward in the bottom right of the card, a peace offering perhaps? My eyes are drawn to the red above it. I was nudged to take a look at the Russian flag, and the old USSR flag which was relinquished in 1991... maybe the red draws us towards an underlying theme or agenda? As an angel number, 4 bestows keen intellect and logical decision-making abilities. It’s a sign of God/universe/creator's ( insert your own word) kindness and mercy, and it lets us know that our prayers have been heard. Our final card this month is the Queen of Swords . Swords representative of the air element and of thought, mind and intellect. She is a great communicator, an unbiased descion maker and she brings us wise counsel, and is adept at uncovering truths. She cares deeply for the World, and yet she doesn't allow emotions to cloud her focus. I'm drawn to the yellow and red flags in the distance that the queen is gazing out towards, on googling it, I find that the Flag of Warsaw is yellow and red and links us directly to Poland. Our Queen is looking ahead, strategically, considering all possible multiple moves in advance. From this vantage point she is considering the bigger picture. She is a calming influence, in her right hand she holds her sword should she need it. ... the feeling here is from an intellectual point of view more than physical as it points behind her, influenced by what has gone before, she uses her clear mind and expertise in communication. Summary: * focusing on the collective frequency and level of consciousness * High level communication ,wise counsel * Power vs force
