Today's storytelling.
Sunrise

As a new day dawns, it may not be too sunshiny in reality, but then we are reminded that we can always bring our own sunshine. That we can greet the dawn of a new day with optimism and hope.
And what a lovely tune for today, Norah Jones and Sunrise.

So to our first card for today, 5 The Hierophant. He does like to show up this fella doesn't he?
So what do we notice today ? The light at the end of the tunnel comes to mind. That flight of steps taking us to higher wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Enlightenment you could say, a higher level of consciousness.

It feels as though we are ascending beyond the old, the mundane, towards a greater fulfillment and purpose.
He certainly looks joyful, its as though the joke is on us though... as though he's thinking... has it really taken us so long to see the light, the truth of what matters, what's important? He doesn't mock us though, he's just delighted that , at last it's beginning to dawn on us.

Our second card today sees 3 The Empress coming back into our awareness. Today I notice the bodies of water of the World As we know the water element is representative of emotions and feelings. It seems a strong message for us to nurture our emotional wellbeing, to take rest and to know that all emotions are transient, just like the weather.
She perhaps reminds us to notice our own cycles and rhythms and move with them. Its not yet the time to push ( excuse the metaphor if you're squeamish).

Our final card today is the 8 of cups. ( cups representative of the water element, feelings and emotions)
The meaning of the number 8 is harmony, peace, and balance. It is a symbol that helps us make decisions that are beneficial to us in our life. 8 resonates with the power and vibrations of self-confidence, inner strength and personal power. It is the symbol of resurrection and regeneration. It brings us a new beginning or creation.

We see a young woman walking away from a deep pool of emotions. A singing bowl (cup) floats on the surface with flames still burning. Still she walks towards the dawn of a new day and the rising sun on the horizon.

Overall we may be starting to see the new World emerging, we may have been illuminated by the truths from our deeper longings and desires during this time. Our own personal life audits may have uncovered what we no longer wish to have in our lives and yet we find it's not yet the time to push forward. We find ourselves mourning the old whilst simultaneously nurturing the creation of the new. Perhaps its a moment in time for rest and rejuvenation, before we greet the new dawn on our world and our own personal lives.
