Today's storytelling.
Stardust.
And this time the universal comms team have gone for the bands name rather than the song title ....
Stardust's "The music sounds better with you"
https://youtu.be/FQlAEiCb8m0
The lyric that stands out to me is :
'Love might bring us back together'💛
In the video we see a young boy imagining flying his wooden glider plane high. He can see it in his minds eye as if it's already real before he has even built it.
I guess there's a question in that for us...
Can we clearly see what we are manifesting before we begin to take action towards it ?
A little like the message from yesterday about the zero point ....
We have the ability of creating something out of nothingness.... for better or worse..... It is governed by our intent and focus.
So on to our cards for today.
First out is the 8 of wands (wands representative of the fire element and action)
When all of those multi-coloured wands come together look at that magical starburst of creation they make.
All action focused to one point. It feels like looking into a time warp or vortex.
The vortex is the meta-pattern of the universe and an elemental image.
It is an archetypal symbol embodying above and below, in the Cosmos, Earth and our own microcosmic nature.
Galaxies, Earth, the quantum realm and the human energy body share this essence; vortex energy.
It is a powerful symbol to denote unusual developments in life. It draws in those who are caught in it. Sometimes, it may even act as a door way to another world.
In spirituality, it can denote mortal life and the cycle of birth and death.
Something then is beginning and something is ending.
In Hinduism it is suggested that those who are caught in the vortex ( or whirlpool of energy) are increasingly drawn into worldly life and drowned in sorrow and suffering.
They can only escape from it, by practicing detachment from the drama and chaos raising their consciousness to a higher vista.... by setting a positive intent, sparking life into the as yet untapped potential.
Our second card today is the 5 of cups ( cups representative of the water element and of feelings and emotions)
We see a young woman looking sad and forlorn as her cup empties into a whirlpool below ( hmm bit of a repeating message hey?)
She is so focused on what has been lost, what has gone before. She isn't seeing the abundant singing bowl right next to her or the infinte starlit sky above..
I guess she is only focused on the whirlpool.... an ever decreasing downward spiral.
I'm reminded of a saying I use a lot , I even used it in a networking meeting this morning.
"What you focus on grows, where focus goes, energy flows"
That goes for both for the positive and the negative.
Our final card for today is the knight of swords yet again ( swords representative of the air element and of thought and intellect)
Is he really still running around and still not getting any where ?
Hmm... could it be he needs to take note of the bird flying high up above him?
To take a higher plane of thought ?
Perhaps he is too drawn into the melee of life, missing the opportunity of greater vision for himself .
In summary today, it would seem we are being to challenged to consider our vision... what is it we are creating?
Where are we focusing our energy and intent ?
What direction are we headed?
And do we like what we see there ?
"The amazing thing is that every atom in your body came from a star that exploded.
And, the atoms in your left hand probably came from a different star than your right hand.
It really is the most poetic thing I know about physics: You are all stardust.
You couldn’t be here if stars hadn’t exploded, because the elements - the carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, iron, all the things that matter for evolution - weren’t created at the beginning of time.
They were created in the nuclear furnaces of stars and the only way they could get into your body is if those stars were kind enough to explode.
The stars died so that you could be here today".
- Lawrence M. Krauss, A Universe from Nothing: Why There Is Something Rather Than Nothing.
